"BABY BOY" Handmade Greeting Card Keepsake
This adorable handmade Welcome Baby card features a hand stamped, painted & embellished little Bunny pull toy complete with a frosted little bead at the as the pull. He comes through the cut-out opening in the front of the card. I framed the opening in a shiny Gold cardstock and embellished the front using little baby safety pins to attach the round BABY letters. Each is tied with a tiny Baby Blue satin bow. The inside verse is "MAY YOUR HOME & NEW LITTLE FAMILY OVERFLOW WITH JOY, LAUGHTER & LOVE". Wonderful for framing and/or as a keepsake. KEEPSAKE VICTORIAN CARD ALL OCCASION PINK VINTAGE PAPER LACE
This delicate card is completely hand-made using an original Victorian Calling Card from the early 1900's. It features a nest of little birds and says "MY LOVE FOR THINE". It is not glued down but held in place by the ornate scallops in each corner. It is placed over an original Vintage Paper Lace from the 1950's. The background is a Toile in Baby Pink & Soft Ivory on a Pastel Pink card stock. The calling card is all original, no reproductions, scans or copies. Handcrafted Victorian Greeting card with envelope. This is a larger sized card that does not open the traditional way..instead you lift the top to reveal the inside. It is created using a wedding style invitation cardstock held together with a White Organza bow at the top. The large front graphic is a Victorian litle boy on an antique riding toy Horse. It is attached to a Green patterned paper with a hand cut scalloped edge which is on a White on White patterned acetate paper. There are Black graphics at each corner. White Bread Dough Rose
A white rose symbolizes purity. My white rose is created from bread dough which is soft, like childrens play dough but hardens to a porcelain finish. Each petal has been shaped by hand, added to a center bud and then left to air dry. The rose can be easily cleaned by using a soft brush, a hair dryer or canned air, available in most stationary stores. Red Bread Dough Rose
The red rose, a symbol of love. This rose has been created from bread dough using the famous recipe created by Aleene and her equally famous glue. It is a combination of white bread, glue, cornstarch, lemon juice and cold creme. Once mixed, I add acrylic paint for the color. Each petal is shaped by hand and added to a center bud, then left to air dry. Once dry, the rose becomes very hard, much like porcelain. It can be cleaned by using a small brush, hair dryer or even canned air, purchased in any stationary store. The rose is approximately 3" in diameter with a 10" stem and includes a bud. Cobalt Perfume with Leaves & Scrolls
I have painted leaves and scrolls encircling this round perfume bottle. I have used white and cobalt blue paint to paint the design. The effect is breath taking with the tone on tone design.
I use a paint made for glass so the design is very durable. As with all of my creations I paint my designs freehanded without a pattern. This is one of a kind.
