The Roses are raised to add dimension. The base is a solid Green with decorative bands at each edge. There is an overlay of White tissue with Red Rosebuds under the ornate White paper lace. Over the lace is an embossed Silver patterned paper and it is embellished with a very fine Pink satin ribbon. The Pink Satin bow is taken from an original Vintage Valentine dated 1940's and the patterned background is embellished with delicate paper lace corners. Created using a German die cut Victorian calling card dated 1901 all original for the front graphic which is raised to add dimension. The note says "LIFE BEAR FOR YOU ITS SWEETEST FLOWERS." Behind it is a heavily textured White diamond surrounded by a delicate pattern of White paper lace, a background of Pastel Pink Cabbage Roses & Butterflies lightly embellished with a very finely ground irridescent shimmer. The vivid Blue heart behind them is a scan from a 1920's antique valentine, attached to a background of Mint Green & Rose Victorian patterned paper. I attached circles of round paper lace, embellished with Gold heart stamps & fine border and tied the opening with a Baby Blue Satin ribbon. White Bread Dough Rose
A white rose symbolizes purity. My white rose is created from bread dough which is soft, like childrens play dough but hardens to a porcelain finish. Each petal has been shaped by hand, added to a center bud and then left to air dry. The rose can be easily cleaned by using a soft brush, a hair dryer or canned air, available in most stationary stores. The rose is approximately 3" in diameter on a 10" stem and comes wrapped in cellophane with an artificial fern leaf, and makes a lovely gift.Our price $10.00 |

Red Bread Dough Rose
The red rose, a symbol of love. This rose has been created from bread dough using the famous recipe created by Aleene and her equally famous glue. It is a combination of white bread, glue, cornstarch, lemon juice and cold creme. Once mixed, I add acrylic paint for the color. Each petal is shaped by hand and added to a center bud, then left to air dry. Once dry, the rose becomes very hard, much like porcelain. It can be cleaned by using a small brush, hair dryer or even canned air, purchased in any stationary store. The rose is approximately 3" in diameter with a 10" stem and includes a bud. They are wrapped in cellophane with an artificial fern leaf and make a lovely gift.Our price $10.00 |

Cobalt Perfume with Leaves & Scrolls
I have painted leaves and scrolls encircling this round perfume bottle. I have used white and cobalt blue paint to paint the design. The effect is breath taking with the tone on tone design.
I use a paint made for glass so the design is very durable. As with all of my creations I paint my designs freehanded without a pattern. This is one of a kind.
