All metal parts are vermeil (24k gold plate over sterling silver) which meets FTC standard. Vermeil posts are about 12 x 10 mm, total length is about 27 mm.
These freshwater cultured pearls are about 7.5-8 mm, round, white, excellent luster, lightly blemished, acceptable nacre, good matching. (Approximately AA in the AAA-A grading system)
Note: I follow the GIA pearl grading system which has to specifically describe each of the 7 pearl value factors which are size, shape, color, luster, surface quality, nacre quality and matching. I also provide the AAA-A equivalent rating for those who are more comfortable with that system.
