What makes us so Unique and interesting?

• We are the only museum with a permanent collection of beads.

• Our collection ranges from 30,000 BCE to present day; representing hundreds of cultures worldwide.

• The Gabrielle Liese Research Library, housing over 3,000 books, periodicals, and bead research materials.

• Educational programs that reach out to the community.

• Volunteer program-Inviting the valuable resources of our community to join us in our mission.

The Bead Museum interacts with the community and partners with other organizations as well, Including The Glendale Public Libraries, Phoenix Public Libraries, Discovery School, Sky Harbor Airport and The Maricopa County Juvenile Court Center.

These alliances help promote the arts, build communities, and provide unique experiential learning opportunities to children, youth, and adults.
