This box is made of Sapele with a lid of Satinwood. The Satinwood does in fact look just like a piece of satin material and shimmers as the light reflects off of it. Inside, the lower compartment has removeable dividers, and above that is a sliding half-width tray. All hardware is solid brass and the box is finished in lacquer. Overall dimensions are approximately 12 1/2" wide, 8" deep and 4 1/2" high.
