Unique facemask created from a gourd that has been cut in half with the detail burned in and accented with gourd dyes and acrylics. Adorned with pheasant, turkey, tippet and ginnea feathers. Handcrafted by Kathe Stark.

This is a smaller mask measuring in total with feathers at 9" tall and 11" wide. Word burned detail shows through the red gourd dye in the angles below the eyes and above the eyes along the headband. White acrylic paint is used to add raised dots and a dot-hash design along with mouth, headbank and red acrylic surrounds the angled eyes. Pheasant, turkey, Tippet and Ginnea feathers form the head dress. The back of the mask if completely finished in black paint and sealed.
