I grew up in Oceanside, NY, about 15 minutes from the ocean. Taking a walk on the beach, or diving through a wave was always a source of salvation and a lesson or message that said greater forces were in play. East Hampton is on the tip of Long Island and the beach is wider and the ocean rougher. Someone once said to me that if you look at the ocean a lot, you'll have bigger ideas. I think that applies to many vistas in nature, but the ocean will always be special to me. "East Hampton" is available as an 11" x 14" signed, limited edition giclee on archival paper (edition of 100).
