This brooch found me when I was in Arkansas of all places. I purchased it from a vintage/gone trendy/thrift store in a tiny town called Mountain Home. I paired it with coordinating czech fire polished faceted beads with an aurora bourelias finish to bring out some sparkle but still highlight the brown and the grey in the stone. The stone appears to be some sort of agate but I cannont confirm the type. Its earthy tones and beautiful striae really caught my eye. Silver bali spacers compliment the elegant edging on the brooch. Also the real neat thing about this piece is I left the pin on the back and the bead strand is removable so if you want to wear just the brooch you can.
