This necklace was a definite progression! It started out as two projects- the drop half (lower) to become a necklace- and the beaded part was to become a bracelet. I liked the bracelet part0- so I decided to "keep on keepin' on!"-and made a choker. However- I didn't finish the choker, because I just thought it was missing something. So I tossed it onto my (very organized- ha ha ha ha ha) and one of about four work trays I use- and glanced to make sure it didn't miss the target and land on the floor. It landed just to the top of the bottom of what now the rest of the necklace. Did you ever have a moment? An epiphany? Like the gray clouds parted and the sun just lit the landscape up for as far as you could see? I even think I even heard orchestra music- just a few notes: DOT TA DA DAAAA! Anyway- there it was- the answer- combine both projects into one and you will have a (not to sound conceited!) a fabulous necklace!
Okay- it's comprised of two very sturdy rows of triple square stitched bugle and triangle beads, gold filled chain, stick pearls, AAA+ faceted garnet, resin beads for color, pearls, faceted black onyx, abalone, little gold seed pearls- even in-between every center drilled stick pearl for contrast, olive green recycled beach glass and seed beads to enhance colors.
