This Maple box is a great desktop or table top box. The lid photo of Mount Everest is printed on an inlaid ceramic tile. Walnut accents are used around the photo, the box corners and lid handle. The box is deep enough to hold 4" x 6" photos, or any number of other keepsake items. (I have one on the dresser that comes in handy when I empty my pockets at night). The box measures 10" wide x 8" deep and 5 1/2' high outside. Inside dimensions are about 1 1/4" less. The finish is hand-rubbed lacquer. Both the box bottom and inside lid are lined with velvet.
