Heart Ring Box
This small heart-shaped box is the perfect presentation box for that special ring or pair of earrings. The box is 3 1/4 " x 3 1/4" x 1 7/8" high. The inner storage compartment is 2 1/8" diameter and 7/8" deep. The swivel top is held closed by an inlaid rare earth magnet. The box is made of Bloodwood and finished with danish oil and carnuba wax.

Maple and Walnut Medium Jewelry Box
This jewelry box is made of Hard Maple and Figured Walnut. Figure in the Walnut lid appears as curls or waves that change with the light.
The box has a removeable full-width divider in the bottom, and a half-width sliding tray above. The hinges are solid milled brass, and the finish lacquer. The tray and box bottom are lined with faux suede.

This box is made of hard maple and incorporates a contrasting veneered lid and corner inserts. The box is 9" long, 4 1/4" wide and 3" high. The hinges are brass. The bottom is lined with a fawn-colored faux suede material. A brass button with contrasting wood insert is used to lift the top. The box is finished in satin lacquer. |

Large jewelry box of Sapele and Curly Maple
This box is made of two very contrasting woods ... Sapele, which is an open grained, figured wood from the Mahogany family. Its surface has ribbons of light and dark that change as the light moves about. The lid is closed grain Curly Maple with its own figure and light effects. Together they make a box that one never tires of looking at.
The box itself is 10" x 14" x 6" high. It has two half-width sliding trays inside. The trays, along with the divided bottom compartment are lined with deep blue velvet. Hinges are solid milled brass with built-in stops to keep the lid open. The finish is satin lacquer. |

This box is a bit larger than most of my other jewelry boxes. It measures 10" x 14" x 6" high. Inside there are removeable dividers on the bottom and one of the two sliding trays. The bottom and trays are lined with red faux suede. The Sapele wood on the main body is dark with a heavy texture and pronounced grain pattern. The lid by contrast is a smooth, Curly Maple that shimmers with the light. Hinges are solid brass with built in stops. The box is finished with satin lacquer. |

Whimsical Cherry Odds 'N Ends Box
Definitely a conversation piece. This small box is made of Cherry. It starts out as a block of wood 10" wide, 4" wide and 5 1/2" high. Then I cut it into 17 different pieces and re-assemble them to create the box. A finger hole in the back is the means to open the drawer. The drawer itself is lined with deep wine-colored flocking. The box sits on small turned brass feet. |

This box is made of Maple and highlights a striking piece of figured Zircote for the lid panel. Zircote is from Mexico and the Yucatan Penninsula, and each piece has its own unique character. The box is 10" x 6" x 4" high and has a 3/4 width removable tray. There are dividers in the bottom that can be removed if not needed. The hinges are brass and a brass chain holds the lid when opened.
