Material on this hollow form is very wormy Butternut wood which adds to its character. The Butternut trees in the midwest are dying due to a fungus. This wood came from one of the dead trees. Finished in laquer and coated with wax. Measures 5.25" tall and diameter is 5.5" |

Walnut Hollow Form
This vase/ hollow form was made from walnut and has a bark inclusion around its top that adds a lot of character to the piece. Finished with a laquer coating and waxed. Measures 5.75" tall and diameter is 6.5". |

Elm Hollow Form
This hollow form is made from Elm wood that is spalted giving the bottom of the piece a salt and pepper look. Spalting is the start of the decay process and can add a lot of interest to a piece of wood. Measures 4" tall and has a diameter of 4.25". |

Natural Edge Amboyna Burl Bowl
This small natural edge bowl is made from an Amboyna burl that comes from S. E. Asia. Finished with Laquer and then waxed. Amboyna burl wood is rare and quite expensive in the raw state.
