I've been doing beadwork for about 6 years and have taught beadwork at a Museum and a high school. My husband's family has a great respect for Native Americans and via his family I have been inspired by their seedbead beadwork. The Medicine Bag was inspired by Southwestern Native American beadwork. This deer skin leather Medicine Bag is embellished with a Tiger's Eye cabochon surrounded with beadwork, beaded edging, a beaded strap and double fringe. Tiger's Eye accent beads are prevelant in the fringe.

Cultured fresh water pearls are the keystone of this set. Three different strands of 3 different lengths using graduated sizes of pearls make this necklace dynamic. The outermost, longest strand is 20" long and consists of 8mm pearls. The second, middle strand is 18 1/2" long and is made of 4mm and 6mm pearls. The innermost, shortest strand is 17" and is made using 4mm pearls. Each pearl is separated by 24k gold lined glass beads. The vintage Swarovski spacer not only works as a spacer, but also as a focal accent of the necklace. You name it, it's probably in here. Six strands to measure 33 inches finished with Sterling Silver cones and toggle clasp. It can also be wrapped twice and become a 12-strand, 16 inch choker. The earrings have 3-tiers. The longest tier can be worn at the front OR the back of the ear and can be removed all together.
